Jamaican songbird and NBC’s The Voice season five winner Tessanne Chin, who performed at the United National Congress (UNC) rally — ahead of the Trininad and Tobago general election — features prominently in the Trinidad Express newspaper’s wrap yesterday. The UNC is one of the two major political parties in the twin-island republic. The UNC was founded by Basdeo Panday, and is now led by incumbent Kamla Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
