Admitted to the bar
On September 4th, the University of Technology Jamaica (UTECH) School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the J. Wray and Nephew Academy made a formal presentation to the successful participants from its joint program with certificates of completion in Bar Operations. The fifteen graduates, which were mainly on trade bartenders, were the first cohort of this joint program after the launch of the JWN Academy on June 30th of this year.
The JWN Academy is poised to be a hub of knowledge for those in the beverage industry as well as anyone with an interest in the industry.
