Krishane looks for love
SINGER Krishane goes for more success with his latest single Money Can’t Buy No Love. Released on September 4 by Atlantic Records.
Money Can’t Buy No Love is the follow-up to his debut, Drunk and Incapable, which featured Melissa Steel and entered the British national charts.
On his latest effort, he partnered with one of the best-selling Jamaican artistes:
“Looking up to Shaggy not only as a legend in music, but also someone who has done a lot for our country gives me great honour to have him on my record. He brought so much passion to the track, and for that I have even more love and respect for him,” Krishane told Splash.
The son of singer Barrington Levy, Krishane grew up in Manchester and attended Knox College, where he started writing and singing. Three years ago, he moved to London to pursue a professional music career.
Drunk & Incapable got the thumbs up from top American artiste manager, Scooter Braun, known for his work with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
Recently, he opened for Grande on the United Kingdom leg of her ‘The Honeymoon Tour’.
He feels no pressure being the son of one of reggae’s most influential singers.
“My father is a great musician, but we are in two different worlds musically. I am reggae-influenced, however my music is also blended with pop and urban styles,” he said.
