Ultra fun at Bikini Sundayz
BIKINI Sundayz lived up to its billing as Jamaica’s sexiest beach party with last Sunday’s staging of its Sportswear edition at UltraBeach in Portmore, St Catherine.
The event is held the first Sunday of every month.
“The vibes was great as usual. It was evident that everyone had a good time,” Maurice Johnson, event promoter, told Splash.
He said the back-to-school timing had negatively affected the turnout compared to previous staging, but the event saw a fair-sized crowd. There was little shortage of women, and couples who came out in their various sport-themed garments were rewarded prizes throughout the night. Several patrons walked away with gifts such as selfie-sticks as they flocked to stage to meet the on-the-spot contest requirements.
ZJ Nova backed up the house DJs who kept the audience going with their musical selections and humour.
Johnson spoke to Splash about the four-month-old parking arrangement which sees patrons being shuttled to the venue for a small fee.
“Our patrons are loving it. They can enjoy Bikini Sundayz comfortably, knowing that their vehicles are safely being monitored and then having the shuttle to take them back and forth,” Johnson explained.
The organiser expects big things for the Halloween edition next month.
“It’s already being talked about,” he added.
