BLOGGER and entertainment insider Odessa Chambers is expanding her reach.

The British-born Chambers has moved from the O-access Jamaica blog which details news and lifestyle information to Bang Radio in the United Kingdom.

The O-access Jamaica Report is a five-minute weekly segment that airs Thursdays at 6.20 pm (UK Time).

“The programme is aired during Drive Time with Amanda Star on London’s freshest station Bang Radio, in which I give listeners what is happening in Jamaican and Caribbean culture, lifestyle and entertainment through my eyes,” Chambers told Splash.

She further explained that the collaboration with Bang Radio came about through her sponsor Port Royal Patties. She said the owner of Bang Radio fell for the idea.

“A lot of my readers on the blog are UK and European-based and being a British national I want to give the UK listeners news coming straight out of Jamaica during Drive Time, as most of the reggae/Caribbean-based shows on

radio in London and the UK are not on in the prime-time slot, and usually on the weekends,” she added.

Chambers said the feedback has been great.

“Listeners love it as I don’t just speak about only about dancehall news but touch a bit of everything. I even

have listeners in Jamaica and the United States who listen in who say they didn’t even know certain things that are happening in our region and it keeps them updated,”she related.

Bang Radio spins the latest in British urban music, as well as reggae, soca and Afro beats.
