Boy swept away by floodwaters, rescued
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 12-year-old boy was today rescued from the Sandy Gully in St Andrew, after he was swept away by floodwaters.
Residents rescued the child in the vicinity of the Ackee Walk community this afternoon.
The child is reported to have said that he was coming from Mannings Hill Road in St Andrew.
