Gas prices down $1.94, diesel down $2.21
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 22, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $98.75 and $100.41 per litre, respectively, down by $1.94 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $93.62 per litre following a decrease of $2.21, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $2.27, and will be sold for $100.91 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $1.83 and will be sold for $90.07 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $33.55 per litre, down by $1.61 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $39.43 per litre after an decrease of $1.60.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
