Slip Saddle wins Capital/Observer Tipsters’ third quarter
WAYNE McCulloch (Slip Saddle) completed a quick triple as he emerged the third-quarter winner in the 2015 Capital Betting and Wagering Limited/Jamaica Observer Tipsters’ competition.
McCulloch, who also won the first two quarters, was rewarded with prize money of $10,000 for his effort. McCulloch came out on top in the Most Wins category with 204 winners to take the incentive for the quarter.
He was nine wins clear of Sir Donald who spotted 195 winners. Leslie McLean (Hot Spur) was third on 194 winners. “It feels good to win yet another quarter.
It has been a while since I won this category for the third consecutive time and I am just happy that I came out on top. The others (tipsters) are tipping well so I have to be on top of my game if I want to win the fourth quarter and the overall championship,” McCulloch told the Jamaica Observer.
There was no winner in the monetary category as all tipsters fell below the required $10,000-mark. Managing Director of Capital, Egerton Chang, said that he is pleased with how the competition has grown over the years. “This competition is going on for a while now and I am pleased with the progress.
It is getting better and better over the years, but it is not only Capital and Wagering Limited, but Capital and Wagering Limited/Jamaica Observer Tipsters’ Competition, and I think that this competition is the best tipsters’ competition here in Jamaica, as we are doing far better than any other tipsters’ competition,” he said. “Congratulations to Slip Saddle on his win. I hope he continue in the same way,” Chang said.
