Ten horses claimed on saturday

TEN horses were claimed on the 10-race programme last Saturday at Caymanas Park. In the second race, Eusebia was claimed from Steadman Curtis by Clifford C Atkinson Jr acting as both trainer and owner, and Light Brigade was taken from Lawrence Freemantle by Rudolph Hardial for SAC.

Both horses from the second race were claimed for $180,000 each.

King Within was claimed from Gary Subratie by Gresford Smith for Ian Roberts for $250,000; Alexander was taken by Victor Williams for DSTL & Associates for $250,000 from Neville Peralto; Audre’s Blessing was claimed form Michael McIntosh by Carl Anderson for himself for $250,000, and the Clifford C Atkinson Jr-trained Brown Girl was taken by Ryan Darby for Raphael Gordon also for $250,000 from the fourth race.

In the seventh race, Golden Bullet was claimed by Harry Parsard for Karen Parsard from Gary Griffiths for $550,000, while Black Thorn was claimed by Borris McIntosh for himself from Patrick Chang, also for $550,000. Gofortheglory, runaway winner of the 10th event, was claimed from Donovan Plummer by Robert Darby Snr for H Paul Taffe for $180,000, and Ryan Darby claimed Cosequin for Paul E McDonald from Fitzgerald Richards for $180,000.
