Hydel in pole position after 3-0 win
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Hydel High and Camperdown made contrasting starts in the Group I double-header of the ISSA/Flow Manning Cup second round at Spanish Town Prison Oval yesterday.Today’s results
Camperdown were held to a 1-1 result by Innswood High, while Hydel scored a comfortable 3-0 victory over Denham Town in the feature game.
Hydel have assumed pole position in the group on three points with Innswood and Camperdown on a point each. ?In the curtain-raiser, Sanjai Nelson opened the scoring for Innswood in the 31st minute, but an own goal in the 49th minute gave Camperdown a share of the point.
The feature game between Hydel and much improved Denham Town was not as one-sided as the scoreline depicts, as it provided some level of entertainment.
The prolific Ronaldo Nelson scored a brace in the sixth and 44th minutes with Stephen Barnett netting the other in the 29th, as Hydel secured all three points.
