‘Crunk’ time for Grillaras
LOCAL music producer Grillaras is gearing up for the release of his latest project, a seven-track EP Get Crunk by dancehall artiste Fambo.
“It is a well done compilation, trust me,” Grillaras told the Jamaica Observer.
“For me, it is not only about the glory or the fame, but it is more about the quality of work that I put out. I’ve been in the game for a while, since 2006 to be exact, and I have seen many producers rise and fall, but I have still remained relevant over the years,” he continued.
Slated to be released tomorrow and distributed by Zojak World Wide, the set will be available on all digital platforms including iTunes and Amazon.
In addition to the title track, Get Crunk’s track listing includes Da Buzz featuring Snoop Dogg and Camar Flava and I Like Your Style by Beenie Man.
“I have worked with some of the biggest names in the business and upcoming talents, but my focus has always been quality over quantity,” he said.
Nearly a decade in the music business, Grillaras (given name Khabir Bonner), has production credits on Life of a King and Ghetto Born albums, by Lutan Fyah and Jah Vinci, respectively.
He also produced Beenie Man and Cecile’s Thug Love which was featured on America’s BET 106 & Park and more recently Journey Begins EP by Vetta.
