Ed Sheeran announces break from social media
Ed Sheeran’s broken a few hearts, and this time not because of his amazing vocals or soulful lyrics. The singer-songwriter announced via his Instagram on Sunday that he plans to stay off the grid until next autumn.
A few months ago he had announced that he’d be taking a bit of a break but this announcement that he would also be taking a break from social media and even interaction with friends and family has proven to be quite the shock. Nevertheless he has assured fans that his third studio album is on its way and that it is his favourite project he’s been a part of so far.
As much as we’ll miss his music and his online presence we respect his decision to centre himself and to take time off on his own terms, and we look forward to his return and the release of his next album.
