Another Fury
In-form trainer Fitzroy Glispie said that he is expecting a good run from his filly Another Fury in the Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes at Caymanas Park on Boxing Day.
“
Another Fury has been pointed to the SVL Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes and she is doing well in her preparation. She has been moving nicely in the mornings,” Glispie said.
Continuing he stated: “She is a nice filly and she is on the improve, and although she is not as advanced as the more established two-year-olds this season, so far, I am expecting a very good run from her,” he said.
Glispie said that distance of the SVL Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes won’t be a problem for his charge.
“
Another Fury will get a mile very easily as she is bred to get a distance of ground. Come next week Saturday, she will be ready to tackle her opponents,” Glispie said.
Another Fury last raced on November 28, where she easily brushed aside rivals to win the Pick3 ‘Straight’ Trophy, a maiden special weight event, by five-and-a-half lengths in 1:20:1 minutes over 1,300 metres.
“It was a very good performance by
Another Fury and the time that she ran was also very impressive. She is a useful filly and I am expecting good things from her in the future. Based on that performance, she will also be a factor in the upcoming Classic season next year where I expect her to do well,” he ended.
