This girl from Bethtephil Basic School in St James is thrilled to unwrap her Christmas gift from Santa during a Sandals Foundation-sponsored Christmas treat at her school. Sandals Royal Caribbean General Manager Gerald Christ (right) and Sandals Foundation/EHS Guardian Danaree Dixon are equally excited to see the gift. The students at Bethtephil were among more than 700 kids in the parish who received Christmas gifts from the Sandals Foundation. The Sandals Foundation works hard all year on projects to improve education, access for youth and community members to improved health, sports and skills training, as well as environmental protection. At the end of the year, the Sandals Foundation continues to make a difference by sharing the joy of the season with over 91 Christmas treats across the Caribbean. The Sandals Foundation Christmas treats are sponsored each year by Hasbro (US), which donates toys for all the children, and Sandals and Beaches resorts, which provide food and beverage for all the treats.
