Event planners for Fresh off the Grill Backyard BBQ have enlisted a fresh line-up of disc jocks for its December 27 edition at the East Lawn, Hope Gardens in St Andrew.

Rostered to keep the musical vibes flowing from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm are DJs Mario, Sanjay, Drew and the Infuzion sound system.

DJ Mario, formerly of Suncity 104.9 FM, is the resident DJ at Fiction Fantasy. DJ Sanjay, who plies his trade at Fame FM, is also a member of the in-demand Coppershot sound system.

DJ Drew, who has been building a name for himself, was last seen in action at dancehall artiste Tifa’s birthday bash, Aqua, held at Jewel Resorts, Runaway Bay recently. The Portmore-based Infuzion sound system is well known for its hybrid style of musical juggling. The nine-year-old sound comprises DJ Zagga, DJ Floss and DJ Famous.

“We have a nice line-up of DJs to keep patrons entertained. A variety of food will also be there for the entire family. This is an authentic traditional Jamaican barbeque where you listen to laid-back reggae and dancehall music, share laughs with your friends while having a cold beer. So if you’re looking for good food and music in the same place, then Backyard BBQ is the place for you,” said event planner Carlton Davy.
