#BestOf2015 Riddim
Well unfortunately the time we live in now, isn’t like once upon a time when producers used to drop wholesome riddim packages.
I’m sure we remember the glory days of
Day Rave,
Movie Star,
Work Out and
Advocate riddims. Those were the days when you would download every song on it and try to figure who ‘tek the riddim’. And you’d know a riddim was a big deal when both dancehall superstars Mavado and Vybz Kartel were on it.
Well for this year’s riddim of the year, ZJ Chrome and Cr

productions gave us a flashback of the good ole days with
Let’s Rock This. Headlining it were the Gully and the Gaza dons themselves with some young and trendy artistes in the likes of Kranium, Zagga and the chainsaw man himself Chi Ching Ching. The dancehall spelling bee champion Tifa also featured on the riddim with her hit single
Ratings.
If any other riddim was supposed to maybe get selected for the #Bestof2015 it would probably have to be
Liquor riddim. Other than that it really wasn’t year for spectacular riddims. Anju Blaxx, Stephen Di Genius and Chimney Records all had commendable years but it wasn’t up to the standard we were accustomed to.
