10 injured in Mandela crash
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Ten people were injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision triggered by oil spilled from a garbage truck on Mandela Highway.
Police told the OBSERVER ONLINE that the mishap occurred at approximately 7:00 am when a Hiace bus heading towards Kingston with passengers and a Suzuki Vitara collided.
A female passenger in the front seat of the bus was trapped for some time and was eventually rescued by firefighters.
