Wet outfield forces abandonment
SCARBOROUGH, Tobago (CMC) – An impaired outfield resulting from overnight and morning rain has forced the abandonment of the Group A, third-round game in the Regional Super50 between Trinidad and Tobago Red Force and ICC Americas at Shaw Park here yesterday.
Following several inspections by match officials, it was determined that conditions had not improved enough for the game to go ahead.
Red Force have won both their games to date with victories over Jamaica Scorpions and Barbados Pride, while Americas have lost both their outings.
