MONTEGO BAY, St James — Three games, including one rescheduled fixture, are down to be contested this afternoon as the St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Division One competition continues.

All six teams will be making their first appearances this season and will be hoping for improved showing over last year, when they all finished near the foot of the table.

Westgreen FC and Seaview FC are set to meet at Westgreen in a game that was originally scheduled for Monday. Paradise FC and Revelations FC will meet at the UDC Field, while Salt Spring Roses and Somerton are to clash at Albion. All games are set for 3:00 pm starts.

Promoted Fire House SC, last season’s Division Two champions, got their Division One season off to a hot start after beating Salt Spring United 2-0 at Albion on Tuesday.

Alvin Sinclair, in the 33rd minute, and Vernon Fowler, in the 66th minute, scored for the firemen as they took the early lead in Zone One.

Salt Spring United were demoted from the Senior League last season.
