Holland, Kinloss seek semi-final spot in Trelawny KO
FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Holland United and Kinloss FC will seek to join Baca Star United in the semi-finals of the Trelawny Football Association Knock0ut when they meet in a quarter-final game at the Elleston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth this afternoon, starting at 3:00 pm.
Bacca Star United claimed the first spot in the semi-finals after upsetting Western Confederation Super League team Clarks Town 2-0 at Elleston Wakeland on Thursday.
Nicholas Palmer scored twice in the 26th and 72nd minutes for Baca Star United to knock out Clarks Town, who had just beaten Invaders on penalty kicks in the previous round.
Baca Stars are yet to concede a goal in two games in the knockout after edging Duanvale FC 1-0 in the previous round.
Both Holland United and Kinloss had scored close wins in the first round as Holland United had beaten Rio Bueno FC on penalty kicks, while Kinloss had edged Spicy Hill 1-0.
