Tivoli, Rivoli to play rescheduled RSPL game Wednesday

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The relegation-threatened pair of Tivoli Gardens FC and Rivoli United FC are set to contest today’s rescheduled game in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) at Edward Seaga Sports Complex. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm.

Former champions Tivoli are last in the 12-team table with 20 points from 22 games. Rivoli are 10th with 22 points from as many games. The two teams with the fewest number of points at the end of 33 preliminary games will be demoted.

The encounter, originally slated to be played earlier this month, was postponed because sewage from a nearby housing scheme overflowed onto the playing area.
