Gas prices down $1.56, diesel down $1.64
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, January 28, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $84.63 and $86.29 per litre, respectively, down by $1.56 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $76.78 per litre following a decrease of $1.64, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.83, and will be sold for $84.22 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $1.95 and will be sold for $72.61 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $28.98 per litre, up by $0.10 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $34.96 per litre after an increase of $0.19.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
