Boys’ Town, August Town through to Jackie Bell KO semis

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Boys’ Town FC and August Town FC progressed to the semi-finals of the Locker Room Sports/ KSAFA Jackie Bell Knockout competition after 1-0 wins over Barbican FC and Real Mona FC, respectively, in games at Constant Spring field late on Tuesday.

Mitchily Waul scored for Boys’ Town to sink last season’s finalists Barbican, while August Town’s Atapharoy Bygrave got the all-important goal against Real Mona.

The competition continues on Thursday with another double-header at the Constant Spring venue.

Defending champions Waterhouse FC are set to tackle Premier League rivals Cavalier SC in the opener slated for 6:00 pm. In another all-Premier League contest, Harbour View FC and Arnett Gardens are scheduled to meet at 8:00 pm.
