Pressure tells it Like It Is
IN 2007, St Thomas, US Virgin Island-reggae singer Pressure Buss Pipe had got a massive hit with the single Love and Affection. Currently in Jamaica on a promotional tour, the entertainer is hoping to have similar luck from the single Like It Is.
In a recent interview with the Jamaica Observer, Pressure said that although the track has gained traction in his home country since its release last October, he is working towards breaking barriers in Jamaica.
“I am hoping to be in Jamaica a lot more this year in order to promote this song as well as others. Like it is was self-produced and is a lover’s rock track. It’s about being in love and just wanting things to stay the way they are,” he said.
Like It Is will also be featured on Pressure Buss Pipe’s upcoming EP slated to be released on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The Rastafarian singer, whose given name is Delyno Brown, released his debut albumThe Pressure is on in 2005. The album was produced by Dean Pond, who also produced Love and Affection. However, the track was later remixed by Don Corleon.
His third album Coming Back for You was released in 2009. This was followed by Africa Redemption (2012) and The Sound (2014).
