24 964 new youth voters can have their say today
Near to 25, 000 new voters between the age of 18-24 can have their say on who will be Jamaica’s next Prime Minister today.
The Electoral Commission of Jamaica reported that by the last deadline for enumeration, some 24, 964 youth had become enumerated. 3260 people, between the ages of 25-34 also became enumerated.
24, 000 is roughly the number of voters in typical corporate area constituencies.
