Parking Lot Pimps stalled
AUTOMOBILE party, Parking Lot Pimps, scheduled to be held at Oneil’s Place on Hagley Park Road in Kingston tomorrow, has been rescheduled to March 13.
Eddie Bond, one of the event’s organisers, said Thursday’s general election was the factor.
“Due to the political climate caused by the election, the appropriate permits were not being issued,” Bond told Jamaica Observer.
This is one of several events that have been cancelled or rescheduled due to post-election concerns by local law enforcement.
Parking Lot Pimps, which had its genesis last year, is hosted by the party promoters of Sandz and MAPS (Music and Pool Series), as well as the Corporate Area car club Skunk Nation.
