UPDATE: Davies resting in hospital
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing has advised that Dr Omar Davies, who fell ill and was hospitalized this morning, is now resting after a series of test were conducted.

Davies along with Richard Azan and Morais Guy, were scheduled to meet with the staff of the Ministry this morning at 9:00, the ministry informed in a release a short while ago.
In Davies’ absence, the meeting was conducted by Azan and Guy, the release said.
It is the second time within a year that Davies has had to seek emergency medical attention.
In March 2015, he also had to take leave of absence as Transport Minister due to illness.
