Campion, St George’s clash in schoolboy cricket match
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Defending champions Campion College and St George’s College will renew their rivalry when they face each other in the feature game in the second round of the 2016 Inter-secondary School Sports Association (ISSA)/GraceKennedy Shield high school boys two-day cricket match at Campion College playfield tomorrow.
The match is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
The match promises to be an interesting one, as it could be a repeat of last year’s final when Campion College defeated St George’s to capture the title. It is also a very crucial encounter, especially for champions Campion as they need to win to stay in contention for a place in the final.
In other games, the unbeaten Excelsior High will be looking for their eighth consecutive victory when they face the stubborn Innswood High at the Courtney Walsh Oval.
Eltham High will oppose Calabar at Eltham High School and Wolmer’s Boys welcome St Catherine High at Wolmer’s.
