UK Security and Defence Market ‘visits’ Kingston

The United Kingdom (UK), through its trade arm UK Trade and Investment, hosted a UK Security and Defence Market Visit in Kingston last week. The mission was aimed at introducing Jamaican government and security companies to their UK counterparts.

The companies represented included Sepura Plc, Easat Antennas Limited, and Crime Scene Investigation Equipment. The products on display spanned vehicle-tracking devices and platforms, electronic surveillance equipment, and forensic equipment.

This mission is the first of several missions planned to Jamaica as follow-ups to last year’s visit of Prime Minister David Cameron, who promised to encourage more UK businesses to invest in the Caribbean.
