Harmony stop runaway Baca Star
BOUNTY HALL, Trelawny — Baca Star United’s bright start to the Trelawny Football Association’s Monymusk Plantation Rum Major League came to an end on Thursday when they were beaten 1-0 by Harmony FC at Bounty Hall, snapping their two-game streak.
Dane Campbell’s 8th minute goal helped Harmony rebound from their loss in the previous round and took them level on six points in Zone 2 with Baca Star United and Rio Bueno FC, who play Daniel Town at Sea-Road field today.
Spicy Hill SC beat Duanvale FC 1-0 to draw level on four points with them at the top of the points tables in Zone One; Jermaine Cato scored his first goal of the season, in the 70th minute for their first victory.
The competition continues today with three more games. In addition to Rio Bueno and Daniel Town meeting, Classic United and Coopers Pen will meet at Blackwin and Kinloss FC and Holland United will meet at Kinloss.
Rio Bueno FC will be gunning for their third-straight win in a match-up of promoted teams.
