Spot Valley, Mt Alvernia put unbeaten record on the line
RHODES HALL, Hanover — Defending champions Spot Valley High and beaten finalists Mt Alvernia High will both put their unbeaten records on the line today as they seek to confirm the top-two spots in the semi-finals of the ISSA Western Conference girls Open basketball competition.
Spot Valley High, who are coming off a big 63-9 win over Montego Bay High School on Wednesday, will play away to third-placed Rhodes Hall, while Mt Alvernia face Holland High at Muschett, both set to start at 2:00 pm.
In another game at Muschett, set to start at 3:30 pm, winless teams Muschett High and Montego Bay High will seek their first wins of the season.
Spot Valley High and Mt Alvernia lead with six points each, followed by Rhodes Hall on five, Holland High on four, with Montego Bay High and Muschett High on three each each, all after three games.
