Gas prices up $3.43, diesel up $0.81
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, March 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $87.03 and $88.69 per litre, respectively, up by $3.43 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $78.81 per litre following an increase of $0.81, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.58, and will be sold for $89.50 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $1.68 and will be sold for $76.81 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $32.77 per litre, up by $0.52 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $37.22 per litre after an increase of $0.37.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
