West Indies beat England by six wickets

MUMBAI, India (CMC) – West Indies defeated England by six wickets in their opening Group 1 encounter of the Twenty20 World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium here Wednesday.

Scores:

ENGLAND 182 for six off 20 overs (Joe Root 48, Jos Buttler 30, Alex Hales 28, Eoin Morgan 27 not out; Andre Russell 2-36, Dwayne Bravo 2-41)

WEST INDIES 183 for four off 18.1 overs (Chris Gayle 100 not out, Marlon Samuels 37)
