Man’s body washes up on Hellshire beach

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The body of a man was found on the Hellshire beach in Portmore, St Catherine yesterday.

Police report that it was washed ashore about 10:35 am. It is of dark complexion and about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) long. It was clad in a purple plaid shirt, blue jeans and a pair of black shoes.

The Portmore police are appealing to anyone who can assist them in identifying the body to contact the them at 949-8422, the Hellshire Police Station at 424-6758, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
