Black Pearl’s back with Confessions
THREE months after being shot and injured at his United States home by an intruder, dancehall artiste/producer Black Pearl returns with Confessions.
“The song is about my girlfriend’s close friend who has a crush on me. It gets out of hand and I find myself waking up next to her in bed. I then had to confess to my girlfriend about it,” he said.
“I have never had that experience but I have known of the situations. I must admit that women are tempting and sometimes we as men don’t always think with our brain. It’s a bit controversial so I expect it to be a hit,” he continued.
Produced by Black Pearl’s Spit Fiyah Records,
Confessions will be officially released later this month.
Born in Spanish Town in St Catherine, Black Pearl (real name Kevin Richards) migrated to Florida in 2004.
He is the producer of Team Strike beat which created the rhythms Hero’s Day, Sex, and War Like.
