90 trained in use of new police communication system
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Forty-five of 90 Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) trainees in the use of a computer-aided dispatcher system by Motorola will be present at a graduation ceremony Wednesday scheduled for the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston.
The JCF, in an advisory, said that at the end of the ceremony, there will be a ‘Go live’ session at the Police Emergency Communication Centre where the others who were trained will demonstrate the use of the system.
In attendance will be members of the Police High Command with the keynote address delivered by Deputy Commissioner of Police Novelette Grant.
