BOSS OF THE YEAR – ST JAMES CHAPTER Richard Anthony Williams, JP
Mr. Williams is currently the Regional Customer Service Manager at the National Water Commission, with responsibility spanning the parishes of St. James, Trelawny, Hanover and Westmoreland.
His portfolio includes planning, organizing and managing activities related to the customer. He ensures that all his customer needs are dealt with effectively and efficiently, while achieving the Commission’s goals and objectives.
His journey with NWC started with him being the Area Manager for St. Mary/Portland; Area Manager for Manchester/St. Elizabeth; Customer Relations Manager for St. Mary/Portland and District Commercial Supervisor for Portland.
Mr. Williams other involvement includes:
. Representative on NWC Parish Disaster Committee – Portland 2003-2013
. PRO, Coach and Manager for Norwich Youth & Community Club Football Team -1995 to present .
. Deputy President for Portland Football Association – 1998-2000
. Member and Coach of the organizing committee for West Portland Corner League 2001- 2002 & 2006-2007.
He is a Titchfield High School ‘old boy’ and holds a BSc. in Information Technology from the University College of the Caribbean. He has been Justice of the Peace for Portland since 2011.Richard is a super dad to his 3 children.
