SINGJAY Bay C, formerly of dancehall quartet TOK, is leaving the island today for a five-week tour of Europe. His first as a solo artiste.
“I will be using the opportunity to promote my new EP Better Mus Come. It is doing well so far, so the aim is to promote it the best way we know how,” he told the Jamaica Observer yesterday.
Better Mus Come, his second solo project, is a blend of reggae, dancehall and acoustic songs. His first was The Bombrush Hour EP in 2009.
“The EP is a mixture of sounds and themes,” he said.

During his tour, Bay C is scheduled to make stops in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In addition to promoting his music, Bay C has signed on as a Celebrity Patron for the One Health, One Caribbean, One Love Initiative (OHOCOL) set up to fight diseases by encouraging collaboration between medical, veterinary, environmental and wildlife professionals.

According to the singjay, he first got introduced to the players while working on his inaugural Blue Mountain Music Festival in 2014 and signed on the year after.
“Recently, we were in Guyana. We worked on waste management, encouraged and implemented healthier practices in disposing of waste in the homes and communities. I also performed in a few primary and secondary high schools in Guyana as well as at the launch of the One Health Guyana Project,” he said.
Last weekend, he travelled to Trinidad and Tobago where he performed and acted as a spokesperson for the initiative.
“My next stop will be Grenada in June, followed by Jamaica later in the summer,” he said.
