Miguel Antonio makes Kingston debut
Singer Miguel Antonio has made a name doing the North Coast cabaret scene for 10 years. Tomorrow he makes his Kingston debut on the popular Jazz In The Gardens series at the Jamaica Pegasus.
Antonio has performed on high-profile events such as the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival and Soul In The Sun, in his native St James. He sees Jazz In The Gardens as another stepping stone.
“I aim to put in a good performance so a different audience can see what I’m about. It also give mi a chance to promote mi new song,” he said.
That “new song” is Jah Jah See And Knows, produced by Macky Conscious.
Miguel Antonio (born Miguel Stewart) is a regular performer at hotels like Holiday Inn, Royal Decameron, Bahia Principe, and Sunset Beach.
Last year he recorded a number of songs, including Going With My Heart and Goodbye My Lover.
Tomorrow’s Jazz In The Gardens is dubbed Jazz ‘N’ Cabaret, and will also see singers Christine Fisher and Demario McDowell, saxophonist Verlando Small, and guitarist Seretse Small performing.
