Firearm, ammo seized in Denham Town

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police are reporting that a colt 9mm pistol along with one round of ammunition was seized in Denham Town, Kingston this morning.

Reports from police in Denham Town are that about 4:00 am, officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a man acting suspiciously. On seeing the police, the man allegedly ran leaving the weapon behind.

The police say no one was arrested in connection with the find and that investigations are ongoing.
