Wise Moves in St Thomas
London-based recording company Flydie Wise Production has established a Jamaican outlet in Trinityville, St Thomas.
Flydie Wise Production started operations in May 2014 with Garfield Whyte as producer and managing director. Audio engineer is Jarrell Edwards who, like Whyte, is a St Thomas native.
“The company aspires to promote and record both young and long-standing artistes, locally and internationally, in all genres of music,” explained Whyte.
Jameik King, also from St Thomas, is one of the acts Whyte and Edwards have signed.
The singer previously worked with Sizzla Kalonji and Big 12 Records which produced the songs Paradise and Taking Over. King is currently promoting his EP.
Flydie Wise Production has established a charitable foundation HEFI (Health, Education, Family, Infrastructure. Its mission is to improve those areas in St Thomas.
