Dever Orgill scores brace, sends IFK Mariehamn top
Reggae Boy Dever Orgill shot his team IFK Mariehamn to joint top of the Finnish Veikkausliiga League yesterday when he scored twice in a 2-0 defeat of hosts Inter Turku.
Orgill scored in the 29th and 52nd minutes.
IFK Mariehamn pulled level with leaders HJK Helsinki on 17 points from eight games, with the latter holding a better goal difference.
Orgill had the chance to complete a hat-trick just 10 minutes after the hour mark, but the young Inter goalkeeper Martinen made a neat one-handed save.
It was a solid team effort from IFK, who dominated their opponents with good possession and lightning breaks on the counterattack.
On Sunday, IFK Mariehamn are set to host FC Lahti at Wiklöf Holding Arena.
