Jordashe pushing
BUDDING reggae singer Jordashe said his single One More Time has been gaining traction since the release of its music video in February. With over 20,000 views on social media, the singer said he is continuing the push.
“The whole idea is to let the single reach its full potiential instead of releasing and promoting a host of others. Nowadays, a song sometimes barely lasts three months, as the artiste will have newer singles to push. However, I am applying a different principle so for now, we are just working this song and the music video,” he told the
Jamaica Observer.
Produced by Peterkey Productions,
One More Time, according to Jordashe, has a message.
“The message is real and, without a doubt, everyone knows and can relate to someone being jealous of his or her achievements,” he said.
“I really hope this single will change the way we market and promote our music. We need to spend the time to make music that will last a lifetime and stop singing about styles and trends which last only for a few weeks,” Jordashe added.
Jordashe (whose full name is Jordashe Grant) was born in Annotto Bay, St Mary, but spent his earlier years in the Enfield district. After graduating from Buff Bay High School, he got certified in Food Preparation at Cape Clear Academy in St Mary.
