Paul Abrahams to act as JUTC’s managing director
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Paul Abrahams, a director of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), has been appointed to act as managing director of the State-run bus company.
His appointment is as a consequence of Colin Campbell demitting office as managing director of the JUTC today.
A career auto industry entrepreneur, Abrahams was largely educated in the United States of America, from where he moved on to Canada and gained experience in the automobile industry and customer service. He parlayed this know-how into a series of successful businesses in the areas of gasoline retail, automobile maintenance, servicing and fleet management, which he brings to the job.
Abrahams had previously served as the JUTC’s managing director from 2009 to 2012.
