‘Noface’ shaking heads with Tank Up
Noface Unknown scores the first number one hit of his career with Tank Up on the FIWI Choice Top 10 chart last weekend.
Released in February, the song is the deejay’s most successful to date.
“Everything tank up, the thing fully tank up, the fans ah gi mi the energy and ah vote up the song, so it’s a good look,” he said.
The Montego Bay native (born Frantz Morris) uses Spanish and Arabic phrases in his songs, adding to the mystique of his masked face.
He defends the decision to conceal his features.
“The name Noface is symbolic to the direction I’m taking my career. This is not demonic,” he said.
Noface Unknown’s follow-up singles include I Am The Chosen and Happy Like This.
