Remembering Our Dad
How do we celebrate this day; without tears flowing from our eyes… How do we pretend to be happy; when the pain just won’t subside. Today you left us daddy; yes it has been 7 months. I’ve always feared this day and pray it would never come.
Our lives have changed forever, since the day you passed away. You never told us why you went, though we tried to make you stay.
Your pain has gone forever; no more tears for you to cry. You’re no longer feeling helpless; you’re now taking majestic strides.
We know you’re watching from heaven,
here’s the greatest story ever told; of a kind and loving father, one with a heart of gold.
