It is with great pleasure that I join in congratulating all the GSAT awardees for their scholastic achievements, and extend best wishes for the future. I commend you all on having put in the necessary hard work, and staying the course to reap the rewards that are now yours to enjoy. Do continue to perform well at your new schools and make your parents and the nation proud.

Jamaica is blessed with fine institutions which will provide an environment which will facilitate good social, intellectual, cultural, spiritual and emotional growth for all students.

You represent the best of your generation, that group that will comprise the future leaders of society. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Information (MOEYI) wishes for all GSAT awardees, hearty congratulations. We are so proud of you ! You have shone brilliantly. Now go forth for all Jamaica to see. Many thanks to all the parents, friends, teachers and principals that supported and encouraged the students along the journey.
