#NatlTrials: McLeod leads qualifiers for 110mH final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – World Indoor 60m hurdles champion Omar McLeod headlines the list of qualifiers for the men’s 110m obstacle event on day three of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA)/Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) National Senior Championships at the National Stadium on Saturday.
The final is scheduled to be run at 8:15 pm.
The in-form McLeod, who holds the current world-leading time of 12.98 seconds, won heat one comfortably, in a time of 13.43s.
Andrew Riley (13.80s) and Rohan Cole (13.92s) also progressed.
Deuce Carter (13.79s) and the promising Tyler Mason (14.10s) also booked spots in the final, along with Alex Cunningham (14.49s), David Johnson (14.51s), and Teivaskie Lewin (14.16s).
Noticeably absent from the event was World and Olympic medallist Hansle Parchment. The reason for Parchment’s absence was not
confirmed.
