ST LEGER 2016 WILL BE SPECIAL
Cliff McDonald, marketing manager at ISP Finance Services Limited, sponsors of the 2016 Jamaica St Leger, says his company is doing everything possible to make St Leger Day special for the stakeholders in racing and for racing fans.
‘This is a marquee sponsorship by ISP Finance as the St Leger is the final jewel in the Triple Crown series, with the other races being the Guineas and of course, the Derby.
“ISP has become a vital part of the life of racing by the very special service that we offer, so it was a logical sponsorship for us.
“Our decision to pay purses after the running of each race provides a very quick turnover to all concerned. It is our pledge to racing which we will deliver on,” McDonald said.
The ISP marketing manager further informed that while the interests of those directly involved in the sport of horse racing will be taken care of, racing fans at Caymanas Park will also benefit.
“As announced by our managing director at the recent press conference, the company will have tents set up at Caymanas Park, where our staff members will be advising those interested on the products and services we offer, plus we will be giving the best financial advice to those wanting that particular service.
“It is going to be a great St Leger race day on Saturday next and we are ready to serve. We invite all to come to Caymanas Park and enjoy a great day of racing, fun, and excitement. May the best horse win the 90th running of the ISP Finance Services-sponsored Jamaica St Leger,” McDonald said with conviction.
