Norbrook Equity Partners joined the NCB Capital Quest initiative because it gave us a unique opportunity to multiply the impact of our investment strategy and enhance the Jamaican economy. More specifically, we at Norbrook are passionate about reviving the entrepreneurial environment in Jamaica. That said, we have always been limited by our reach and scope as we can only invest in and run a few businesses at any one time.

Capital Quest has provided us with the opportunity to partner with a formidable partner (NCB) and showcase the elements and value of investing in entrepreneurs. Throughout this season, we tried to go deeper is exemplifying the ways that SMEs can better themselves while becoming better investment candidates.

Ultimately, we hope to support impactful entrepreneurs and look forward to working with this year’s winner in enhancing their business. More importantly, we hope that the show will entice a greater appetite from other investors and entrepreneurs to share some of their time and resources to build other businesses in Jamaica.

With our experience of having successfully invested in, and positively impacted the growth of seventeen SMEs, Norbrook truly believes that Jamaica’s future is inextricably tied to the productive interaction between the stakeholder’s of the SME ecosystem, customers, suppliers, investors, and the entrepreneurs themselves. Capital Quest is one step towards improving the interactions within the ecosystem, which is sure to elevate the level of our entrepreneurs and our economy on a whole.
